Braulio Peruxu made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Abelardo Rainerio sent off a good shot on target. If Abelardo Rainerio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Apolo Rameriz during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Crespo getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Apolo Rameriz hit a great ball. 29 minutes into the match, Santos Fernendo notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Crespo's Fermin Rius. Fermin Rius was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Crespo's Fermin Rius played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santos Fernendo in the 34th minute of play. Braulio Peruxu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Delmar Dalmu, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. After having played for 42 minutes, Santos Fernendo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Profundidad AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Santos Fernendo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

The wind increased when Delmar Dalmu made the kick off in the second half. If Abelardo Rainerio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fermin Rius took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fernan Rudolfo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 57 minutes, Santos Fernendo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. When Vladimiro Isusko fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Profundidad AFC's protests and gave Vladimiro Isusko a yellow card for diving instead. Vladimiro Isusko hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. In the 71st minute, Santos Fernendo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fermin Rius was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. If Fernan Rudolfo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Profundidad AFC's Fernan Rudolfo got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Profundidad AFC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Profundidad AFC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
