With a left leg Hilario Rodriguez saved Lucila from getting behind. 29 minutes into the match, Santos Fernendo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hilario Rodriguez. Lucila's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Santos Fernendo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. If Santos Fernendo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Fernan Rudolfo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Santos Fernendo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Hilario Rodriguez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Profundidad AFC booed when Lucila was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Efrain Etor didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Santos Fernendo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hilario Rodriguez made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Santos Fernendo sent off a good shot on target. Marcelo Larra kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Lucila's defense didn't have a chance, in the 42nd minute, when Fernan Rudolfo scored to the left of an out of position Hilario Rodriguez, making the score, 2-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Filomeno Chus managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lucila's supporters rose to their feet, but Filomeno Chus was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Braulio Peruxu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Hilario Rodriguez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fernan Rudolfo's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. 55 minutes into the match, Profundidad AFC's goalkeeper Braulio Peruxu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Filomeno Chus. 58 minutes into the game, Fernan Rudolfo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Profundidad AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lucila the free kick. Fernan Rudolfo hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Filomeno Chus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 70th minute, Tomas Berdaitz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 71st minute Fernan Rudolfo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hilario Rodriguez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Filomeno Chus got free with Braulio Peruxu in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 79 minutes, Fernan Rudolfo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Profundidad AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fernan Rudolfo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Efrain Etor kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. 91 minutes into the match, Lucila's goal looked a bit too open when Fernan Rudolfo came free, but Hilario Rodriguez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Profundidad AFC booed when Lucila was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomas Berdaitz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fernan Rudolfo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lucila's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
