In the 12th minute, Natalio Aritza ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Salvador Tabby was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Raul Poz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Salvador Tabby read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. When Augusto Adrio came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Acebal fans jumped to their feet.
