Spectators: 6659 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1659, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Artemio Farias kicked off to start the match. Baldomiro Gaskon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Francisco Igon, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. After a rather tough play, Vieja Huinco FC's Carlos Tristan got a free kick in the 6th minute. Cipriano Cordarin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cipriano Cordarin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ivan Eder in the 11th minute. Eustaquio Baumer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cipriano Cordarin was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Timoteo Gines. When the match had gone on for 31 minutes, Artemio Farias took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Cipriano Cordarin to make any attempt to save it. In the 38th minute, Francisco Igon left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Vieja Huinco FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Francisco Igon to make the kick off. Ruben Eli's late challenge caught a Usiyal's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ruben Eli helped the player get up and apologised. In the 57thth minute of the game Ivan Eder who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vieja Huinco FC's Cipriano Cordarin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 61 minutes into the game, Carlos Tristan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Baldomiro Gaskon was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 65th minute, Eustaquio Baumer ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Baldomiro Gaskon was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. 70 minutes into the match, Usiyal's Ivan Eder sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cipriano Cordarin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francisco Igon in the 72nd minute of play forced Usiyal's goalkeeper Baldomiro Gaskon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 74 minutes into the match, Eustaquio Baumer had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Baldomiro Gaskon. Usiyal's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eustaquio Baumer was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-4. A collision led to Usiyal getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Gavino Guipuzkoa hit a great ball. If Francisco Igon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 84th minute, Artemio Farias made a precise shot to the right of Cipriano Cordarin. Vieja Huinco FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-4. Artemio Farias's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cipriano Cordarin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Vieja Huinco FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
