This resulted in a 3-0 score and a disappointed Hilario Rodriguez as he didn't even see the shot coming. 39 minutes into the match, Lucila's Gerardo Goyo broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Arnaldo Ticho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Laureano Montae in the 41st minute of the match. An unexpected shot in the 42nd minute by Higinio Frances got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

Chuchi's Arnaldo Ticho proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Chuchi from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Chuchi's Natalio Regis got a free kick in the 64th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Chuchi's zone, Laureano Montae stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arnaldo Ticho came out of the goal and Laureano Montae tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Filomeno Chus could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Arnaldo Ticho made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Filomeno Chus got free with Arnaldo Ticho in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match had gone on for 85 minutes, Filomeno Chus took a quick shot and it went in 4-1 without a chance for Arnaldo Ticho to make any attempt to save it. Filomeno Chuss short, quick shot in the 92ndth minute got Arnaldo Ticho to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Chuchi fans cheered their team off the field, for while Lucila had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
