An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernan Rudolfo in the 14th minute of play forced Ordóñez's goalkeeper Gaspar Saturnin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 17 played minutes Ordóñez got a freekick which was hit by Cirilo Larra. 21 minutes into the match, Profundidad AFC's goalkeeper Braulio Peruxu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Apolo Tadzio. In the 27th minute, Mauro Joachim got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 29thth minute of the game Mauro Joachim who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Profundidad AFC's Braulio Peruxu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Apolo Tadzio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gaspar Saturnin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Santos Fernendo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mauro Joachim's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 38thth minute, Braulio Peruxu skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Rene Juvenal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Braulio Peruxu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mauro Joachim went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Ordóñez's Mauro Joachim got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 47 played minutes Profundidad AFC got a freekick which was hit by Saverio Garoa. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Mauro Joachim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Braulio Peruxu having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Apolo Tadzio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ordóñez's supporters rose to their feet, but Apolo Tadzio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Braulio Peruxu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mauro Joachim might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Braulio Peruxu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mauro Joachim ran back to his position shaking his head. With a little luck, Ordóñez's Gaspar Saturnin got control of the ball when Santos Fernendo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Santos Fernendo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaspar Saturnin having to interfere. 72 minutes into the game, Ordóñez's Mauro Joachim nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Braulio Peruxu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Apolo Tadzio managed to get in a good position for a shot.
