Gaspar Saturnin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Tristan in the 17th minute of the match. In the 19th minute Apolo Tadzio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cipriano Cordarin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mauro Joachim took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cipriano Cordarin. Cipriano Cordarin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Mauro Joachim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cipriano Cordarin having to interfere. Ordóñez's Mauro Joachim got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Apolo Tadzio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cipriano Cordarin having to interfere. Mauro Joachim sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ordóñez's Apolo Tadzio got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Francisco Igon to strike the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marcos Mero during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Vieja Huinco FC's Marcos Mero got a free kick in the 52nd minute. The supporters of Vieja Huinco FC booed when Ordóñez was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anastasio Flores didn't get a good kick on the ball. Genaro Iraunkor hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Cipriano Cordarin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mauro Joachim in the 72nd minute of the match. Apolo Tadzio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 78th minute, Guaberto Gilabert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 79 played minutes, Ordóñez's Emanuel Alagoano shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Cipriano Cordarin came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ordóñez reached it. In the 80th minute, Eustaquio Baumer left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Vieja Huinco FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. Ordóñez's Cirilo Larra got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mauro Joachim could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Cipriano Cordarin made a huge save. Cirilo Larra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Cipriano Cordarin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 93rd minute, Geronimo Roldanillo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vieja Huinco FC's Cipriano Cordarin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mauro Joachim in the 96th minute of play.
