Spectators: 6652 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1652, VIP seats: 0) Eliseo Diagur made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 3rdth minute of the game Amancio Abancens who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ranquile FC's Omar Bertol was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Guaberto Ibon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilberto Pero in the 10th minute of the match. After 12 played minutes Escalada AFC got a freekick which was hit by Sebastian Lizardi. 16 minutes into the match, Ranquile FC's goal looked a bit too open when Eliseo Diagur came free, but Omar Bertol reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Omar Bertol was a little too slow when Eliseo Diagur got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 18th minute. The score was now 1-0. Severino Gomez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guaberto Ibon having to interfere. If Severino Gomez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Amancio Abancens got free with Omar Bertol in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Omar Bertol took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eliseo Diagur, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 44 played minutes Escalada AFC got a freekick which was hit by Arnulfo Luken. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Severino Gomez to make the kick off. 57 minutes into the match, Escalada AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Severino Gomez came free, but Guaberto Ibon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Diego Cefero hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Ernesto Ponce took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 63rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Guaberto Ibon. Escalada AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Guaberto Ibon made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Gilberto Pero sent off a good shot on target. Eliseo Diagur fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Omar Bertol having to interfere. 68 minutes into the game, Amancio Abancens cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Omar Bertol was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Amancio Abancens sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arnaldo Estefan kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. In the 76th minute Amancio Abancens shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Omar Bertol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Escalada AFC getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Bernardo Tano hit a great ball. Ernesto Ponce recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gilberto Pero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Gilberto Pero came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Ranquile FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gilberto Pero couldn't finish the play. Severino Gomez was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 87th minute. Ranquile FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After having played for 90 minutes, Amancio Abancens managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Escalada AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Amancio Abancens was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Omar Bertol showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eliseo Diagur, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Escalada AFC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
