Ozzy FC's Prudencio Petri proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Ozzy FC from getting a goal against them. 12 minutes into the match, Ozzy FC's goal looked a bit too open when Astor Berbiz came free, but Prudencio Petri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ozzy FC's Godfredo Clis got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 15thth minute of the game Godfredo Clis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pavón's Erasmo Lordi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 24th minute, Godfredo Clis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ozzy FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. The supporters of Ozzy FC booed when Pavón was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eusebio Asteri didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 35th minute, Godfredo Clis made a precise shot to the right of Erasmo Lordi. Pavón's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. If Jorge Ereinotz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 46 minutes had been played when some careless play by Pavón's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Aquilino Opilano was slow to take the kick. During this time Ozzy FC's players had a chance to rest. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Godfredo Clis made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes in the game, Gogo Chano fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Erasmo Lordi having to interfere. Jorge Ereinotz struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Erasmo Lordi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ozzy FC. When Gogo Chano came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Ozzy FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gogo Chano couldn't finish the play. 61 minutes into the match, Pavón's goalkeeper Erasmo Lordi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Godfredo Clis. In the 62ndth minute of the game Gogo Chano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pavón's Erasmo Lordi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Aquilino Opilano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erasmo Lordi having to interfere. In the 67th minute, Ozzy FC's Aquilino Opilano dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-3. Gogo Chano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erasmo Lordi having to interfere. When Gonzalo Mateo came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Ozzy FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gonzalo Mateo couldn't finish the play. With his leg Erasmo Lordi managed to avoid a goal in the 74thth minute, when Ozzy FC's Godfredo Clis fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Pavón's Erasmo Lordi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gogo Chano in the 75th minute of play. Gogo Chano blasted a shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Erasmo Lordi having to make a save. Pavón's defense didn't have a chance, in the 84th minute, when Godfredo Clis scored to the left of an out of position Erasmo Lordi, making the score, 0-5. If Genaro Goyo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Pavón's zone, Jorge Ereinotz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Erasmo Lordi came out of the goal and Jorge Ereinotz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Jorge Ereinotz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the match was over Ozzy FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Pavón throughout the match.
