Spectators: 7071 (Terracing: 5405, Seating: 1656, VIP seats: 10) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Severino Gomez started the match with the kick off. When PERROQUE FC's Moises Diagur in the 8th minute got a chance for a shot 8th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ranquile FC's goalie prevented a goal. Mariano Urdaspal kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in PERROQUE FC's zone, Severino Gomez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gualterio Iturri came out of the goal and Severino Gomez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gualterio Iturri made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Ariel Pio sent off a good shot on target. The crowd rose to their feet as Severino Gomez kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gualterio Iturri. That made the score 2-0 in the 27 minute of play. In the 30th minute, Hilario Tibalt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. PERROQUE FC's Moises Diagur got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 38th minute of the match Saul Havier sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Omar Bertol skillfully saved the ball. After 40 played minutes, PERROQUE FC's Bernardino Jerardo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Omar Bertol came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in PERROQUE FC reached it. After 40 minutes, Ariel Pio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ranquile FC and the PERROQUE FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 41st match minute, Ranquile FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ariel Pio to maneuver through the defense. Joel Leguizamón received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Omar Bertol tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gilberto Pero took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gualterio Iturri. Gualterio Iturri dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Arnaldo Estefan hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The wind increased when Moises Diagur made the kick off in the second half. Severino Gomez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gualterio Iturri having to interfere. Severino Gomez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gualterio Iturri read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. Ranquile FC's Severino Gomez got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Moises Diagur sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gilberto Pero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gualterio Iturri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilberto Pero in the 81st minute of play. Mariano Urdaspal's late challenge caught a Ranquile FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mariano Urdaspal helped the player get up and apologised. After 82 played minutes PERROQUE FC got a freekick which was hit by Mariano Urdaspal. Severino Gomez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Gualterio Iturri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Omar Bertol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Moises Diagur in the 91st minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the PERROQUE FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Ranquile FC.
