In the 11th match minute, Taladro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Geronimo Jobo to maneuver through the defense. 12 minutes in the game, Severino Gomez fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Cristo Tebaldo having to interfere. In the 13th minute, one of Taladro:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Taladro. The audience was convinced that Geronimo Jobo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Omar Bertol was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. Ariel Pio kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Guido Unai sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Omar Bertol showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Geronimo Jobo, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Arnaldo Estefan during the 30th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Taladro booed when Ranquile FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arnaldo Estefan didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 31 played minutes, Taladro's Oscar Maureo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Omar Bertol came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Taladro reached it. Fabian Richie received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Omar Bertol tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 34 minutes into the match, Guido Unai had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Omar Bertol. Ranquile FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Guido Unai was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Erubiel Rameriz hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Guido Unai took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Omar Bertol. Omar Bertol dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Severino Gomez to make the kick off. Omar Bertol showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guido Unai in the 52nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilberto Pero in the 57th minute of play forced Taladro's goalkeeper Cristo Tebaldo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gilberto Pero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Geronimo Jobo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Omar Bertol made a huge save. In the 73rd minute, Geronimo Jobo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guido Unai in the 75th minute of play forced Ranquile FC's goalkeeper Omar Bertol to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristo Tebaldo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gilberto Pero's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. Geronimo Jobo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Omar Bertol tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 83rd minute, Guido Unai ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Omar Bertol was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-5. Thanks to some nice moves Geronimo Jobo could shoot a difficult shot in the 88th minute, which Omar Bertol however easily saved by the left post. Ranquile FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Guido Unai 89 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-6. After having played for 96 minutes, Gilberto Pero managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ranquile FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gilberto Pero was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
