Albino Santana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Prudencio Dino having to interfere. 43 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Platense's Manuel Monico sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Matias Francis narrowly saved just below the crossbar.

Carolo Sal charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. In the 95th minute, Bernardo Rito hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 96th minute, Cornelio Guerrero sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Club Atlético Platense's Prudencio Dino didn't even have to move. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
