Profundidad's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Juli Alvarez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Gerardo Evarado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luisito Bembe in the 26th minute of play. In the 31st minute of the match Profundidad got a corner. Como te duele la cola...'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Eusebio Gumaro ran over to the corner to take the kick. Juli Alvarez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Francisco Elizardo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. After 34 played minutes Profundidad got a freekick which was hit by Ovidio Gaufred. If Nereo Musko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Como te duele la cola... booed when Profundidad was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eusebio Gumaro didn't get a good kick on the ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Luisito Bembe to make the kick off. If Sebastian Salvator had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Como te duele la cola... getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Anacleto Tino hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Como te duele la cola...'s zone, Eusebio Gumaro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gerardo Evarado came out of the goal and Eusebio Gumaro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Francisco Elizardo was out of position in the 73 minute of play, and Wincenty Kaczorowski capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Wincenty Kaczorowski really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. Wincenty Kaczorowski received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Francisco Elizardo came out and tried to block the shot, but Wincenty Kaczorowski slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 75th minute.
