In the 30th minute Primitivo Santo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matias Francis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Primitivo Santo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fausto Haritz to make the kick off. Miranda's Isidoro Abascal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albino Santana in the 62nd minute of play. A collision led to Jamón del medio getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Cornelio Guerrero hit a great ball. Matias Francis didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 70th minute, which inside left pole to 0-1. After 74 minutes, Fidel Hondo mouthed his way into the referee's book. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 88 minutes into the game, one of Jamón del medio:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The goalkeeper, Matias Francis, was totally fooled by Miranda's Maximo Tab, who 90 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Miranda's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
