Clemente Bernal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Federico Guillelmus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Florencio Estavan charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Florencio Estavan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Carpintería getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Florencio Estavan hit a great ball. Aurelio Silvanito hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. The referee ignored Carpintería's protests and gave Horacio Garaona a yellow card for diving instead. After 33 played minutes Carpintería got a freekick which was hit by Horacio Garaona. The audience was convinced that Alfredo Emesto's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Federico Guillelmus was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. After 42 minutes of play, Centro Galicia's Alfredo Emesto made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Federico Guillelmus was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 48th minute, Alfredo Emesto left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Centro Galicia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. After the first half Centro Galicia were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the match was over Centro Galicia could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Carpintería throughout the match.
