The audience thought a goal was coming when Primitivo Santo got free with Francisco Elizardo in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Primitivo Santo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Primitivo Santo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francisco Elizardo having to interfere. After having played for 29 minutes, Luisito Bembe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Profundidad's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luisito Bembe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Primitivo Santo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Francisco Elizardo having to make a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Primitivo Santo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Miranda's supporters rose to their feet, but Primitivo Santo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Francisco Elizardo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Francisco Elizardo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fausto Haritz in the 39th minute of play. Francisco Elizardo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fausto Haritz in the 45th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Luisito Bembe made the kick off in the second half. Francisco Elizardo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fausto Haritz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Augusto Abar's late challenge caught a Profundidad's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Augusto Abar helped the player get up and apologised. In the 53rd minute, Augusto Abar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 61stth minute of the game Fausto Haritz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Profundidad's Francisco Elizardo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Francisco Elizardo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Primitivo Santo in the 63rd minute of play. 64 minutes into the game, Ovidio Gaufred was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Profundidad's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Miranda the free kick. In the 64th minute, Ovidio Gaufred hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 67th minute, Augusto Abar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Fausto Haritz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Miranda's supporters rose to their feet, but Fausto Haritz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Isidoro Abascal stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luisito Bembe's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. When Fausto Haritz came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Miranda fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fausto Haritz couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Primitivo Santo in the 84th minute of play forced Profundidad's goalkeeper Francisco Elizardo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 92nd minute, Primitivo Santo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Francisco Elizardo was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0.
