Ferro's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Black Camotes the free kick. After a rather tough play, Ferro's Arsenio Urtzi got a free kick in the 7th minute. Urbano Arias made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Horacio Nikola sent off a good shot on target. 12 minutes into the match, Ferro's goal looked a bit too open when Gilberto Maureo came free, but Urbano Arias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Erubiel Montez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Urbano Arias having to make a save. Valentin Baraquiel kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Gilberto Maureo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Urbano Arias was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. When Horacio Asteri came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Ferro fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Horacio Asteri couldn't finish the play. If Gilberto Maureo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Valentin Baraquiel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Nemesio Lalla came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Ferro's Dante Batista. But to his dismay, Dante Batista quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Apolo Cloyo hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match.

57 minutes into the match, Valentin Baraquiel had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Urbano Arias. Ferro's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Valentin Baraquiel was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Gilberto Maureo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Urbano Arias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Valentin Baraquiel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Epifanio Petrigai took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nemesio Lalla. Nemesio Lalla dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. In the 76th minute, Jeremias Maxin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Horacio Asteri in the 79th minute of play forced Black Camotes's goalkeeper Nemesio Lalla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 85th minute of the match, Epifanio Petrigai tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Nemesio Lalla saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Gilberto Maureo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Urbano Arias having to interfere. 92 minutes into the match, Apolo Cloyo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Urbano Arias. Ferro's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Apolo Cloyo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilberto Maureo in the 96th minute of play forced Ferro's goalkeeper Urbano Arias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
