Luisito Gaskon struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Claudio Salvatore didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Saber F.C. Claudio Salvatore came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by Saber F.C's Rafael Calisto. But to his dismay, Rafael Calisto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nemesio Suero got free with Frank Aguiar in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nemesio Suero could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Frank Aguiar made a huge save. Rafael Calisto might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Claudio Salvatore. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rafael Calisto ran back to his position shaking his head. Conrado Boni kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. The supporters of Pepe Arena CF booed when Saber F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ciriaco Azubeli didn't get a good kick on the ball. Denis Oroitz hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Simon Silbestre in the 34th minute of play forced Pepe Arena CF's goalkeeper Claudio Salvatore to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Claudio Salvatore didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luisito Gaskon went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Luisito Gaskon struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Claudio Salvatore didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Saber F.C. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Nemesio Suero in the 68th minute of play forced Saber F.C's goalkeeper Frank Aguiar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
