After 4 played minutes Ulises Eder shot from long distance. At first the shot seemed to be simple for Ferro's Urbano Arias to catch but Ulises Eder was lucky. It became 1-0 after the goalkeeper had been careless and dropped the ball into goal. Tiburcio Claus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Horacio Asteri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 19 played minutes Ferro got a freekick which was hit by Epifanio Petrigai. Matias Nabar blasted a shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Urbano Arias having to make a save. Tiburcio Claus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnulfo Su in the 25th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Horacio Asteri in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tiburcio Claus saved Amajito Club de Sourdeaux from getting behind. In the 31st match minute, Amajito Club de Sourdeaux was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Justino Montel to maneuver through the defense. Horacio Asteri recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Godofredo Umea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Urbano Arias having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Godofredo Umea to strike the kick off in the second half. After 56 minutes of play, Ferro's Arnulfo Su made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tiburcio Claus was left in no man's land by his defense there! Arnulfo Su fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tiburcio Claus having to interfere. In the 62nd minute, Arnulfo Su got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Ferro's goalkeeper Urbano Arias, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After having played for 74 minutes, Godofredo Umea managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Amajito Club de Sourdeaux's supporters crossed their fingers, but Godofredo Umea was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Arnulfo Su's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 78thth minute, Tiburcio Claus skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. If Matias Nabar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Godofredo Umea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Urbano Arias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Amajito Club de Sourdeaux's Tiburcio Claus got control of the ball when Arnulfo Su tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tiburcio Claus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Horacio Asteri in the 90th minute of the match. When Epifanio Petrigai came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Ferro fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Epifanio Petrigai couldn't finish the play. 93 minutes into the match, Amajito Club de Sourdeaux's goalkeeper Tiburcio Claus had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arnulfo Su. Horacio Asteri struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Tiburcio Claus didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ferro. In the 98th minute, Amajito Club de Sourdeaux's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Horacio Asteri fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. When the final whistle sounded Ferro left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Amajito Club de Sourdeaux.
