Saber F.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Erubiel Montez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Rafael Calisto might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nemesio Lalla. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rafael Calisto ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, Saber F.C's Ramón Queiroz got a free kick in the 20th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rafael Calisto during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Black Camotes booed when Saber F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rafael Calisto didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Gilberto Maureo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Black Camotes's supporters rose to their feet, but Gilberto Maureo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Frank Aguiar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rafael Calisto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Nemesio Lalla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ciriaco Azubeli charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ciriaco Azubeli the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ciriaco Azubeli hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Rafael Calisto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nemesio Lalla having to interfere. Luisito Gaskon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Nemesio Lalla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Gilberto Maureo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 46th minute Valentin Baraquiel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frank Aguiar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half Black Camotes were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rafael Calisto was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Black Camotes's Erubiel Montez nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Frank Aguiar made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. If Valentin Baraquiel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Black Camotes getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Jacobo Urki hit a great ball. In the 59th minute of the match Ramón Queiroz shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nemesio Lalla showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Valentin Baraquiel who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 63rdth minute tested the skills of Frank Aguiar when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Frank Aguiar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erubiel Montez in the 65th minute of play. Gilberto Maureo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Frank Aguiar came out and tried to block the shot, but Gilberto Maureo slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 70th minute. 76 minutes into the match, Saber F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Apolo Cloyo came free, but Frank Aguiar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Black Camotes defense, Rafael Calisto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nemesio Lalla. The Black Camotes fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nemesio Lalla should have stopped the shot. After 85 played minutes, Saber F.C's Ramón Queiroz shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Nemesio Lalla came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Saber F.C reached it. Nemesio Lalla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rafael Calisto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 88 minutes had been played when some careless play by Black Camotes's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ramón Queiroz was slow to take the kick. During this time Saber F.C's players had a chance to rest. If Horacio Nikola had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Valentin Baraquiel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Frank Aguiar made a huge save. Ciriaco Azubeli kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. A hard shot 95 in the game by Valentin Baraquiel from a close distance when the talented Frank Aguiar managed to make a qualified save. Saber F.C's players were relieved. Black Camotes played a much better game than Saber F.C and deserved their victory. The Saber F.C players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
