The audience thought a goal was coming when Rafael Calisto got free with Tiburcio Claus in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Luisito Gaskon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Tiburcio Claus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Ciriaco Azubeli fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Saber F.C's protests and gave Ciriaco Azubeli a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Amajito Club de Sourdeaux getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Arnoldo Lando hit a great ball. Luisito Gaskon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tiburcio Claus having to interfere. Paulo Chabier's late challenge caught a Saber F.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Paulo Chabier helped the player get up and apologised. Isaac Olo hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. If Rafael Calisto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Amajito Club de Sourdeaux's Tiburcio Claus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luisito Gaskon in the 92nd minute of play. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Saber F.C players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
