Drink Team's Hernan Johans played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leo Sauveur in the 27th minute of play. The supporters of Motoralmaisangre booed when Drink Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cecilio Asur didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rigoberto Joanes got his second yellow card in the match during the 44th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 45 played minutes Drink Team got a freekick which was hit by Rigoberto Joanes. When Leo Sauveur came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Motoralmaisangre fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leo Sauveur couldn't finish the play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leo Sauveur in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hernan Johans prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tiburcio Erauso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antonio Urdaspal having to interfere. Gaudencio Gudesteo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpected shot in the 67th minute by Gaudencio Gudesteo got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Motoralmaisangre's Octavio Hernandez got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Leo Sauveur scored 1-0 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hernan Johans, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 88th minute, Isidoro Etxahun got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Leo Sauveur took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hernan Johans. Hernan Johans dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Hernan Johans showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leo Sauveur in the 96th minute of the match.
