If Conrado Christobal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Club Atlético Abasto booed when Chafirete FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cayetano Peru didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Conrado Christobal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Atlético Abasto's supporters rose to their feet, but Conrado Christobal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Denílson Mota breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Santiago Arnalt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. With his leg Cristian Castulo managed to avoid a goal in the 33rdth minute, when Chafirete FC's Cayetano Peru fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 34th minute, Samuel Damario hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Santiago Arnalt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. In the 53rd minute, Cayetano Peru left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Chafirete FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Chafirete FC's Tiburcio Iigo got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Santiago Arnalt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Tiburcio Iigo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Chafirete FC's Santiago Arnalt in the 69th minute got a chance for a shot 69th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Club Atlético Abasto's goalie prevented a goal. Santiago Arnalt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cristian Castulo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cayetano Peru in the 74th minute of play. When Tiburcio Iigo came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Chafirete FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tiburcio Iigo couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Club Atlético Abasto's zone, Tiburcio Iigo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cristian Castulo came out of the goal and Tiburcio Iigo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 87th minute, Baldomero Harri got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Tiburcio Iigo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 92 minutes into the game, Santiago Arnalt cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Cristian Castulo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Denílson Mota was a little too slow when Luciano Derwin got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 96th minute. The score was now 2-1. Chafirete FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
