Raimundo Maureo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 20th minute Fermin Bastia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raimundo Maureo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Delmiro Librado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maximiliano Chabier in the 25th minute of the match. Delmiro Librado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gregorio Maidana in the 27th minute of play. 31 minutes into the match, Fabril FC's goalkeeper Raimundo Maureo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Domingo Mano. A collision led to Tartagal Canalla getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Fausto Romo hit a great ball. If Gregorio Maidana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Maximiliano Chabier managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fabril FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Maximiliano Chabier was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Delmiro Librado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

In the 53rd match minute, Tartagal Canalla was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diego Jaizki to maneuver through the defense. Gregorio Maidana recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 85th match minute, Tartagal Canalla was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diego Jaizki to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Fabril FC defense, Domingo Mano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Raimundo Maureo. The Fabril FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Raimundo Maureo should have stopped the shot. Tartagal Canalla's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
