Verón AFC's Jesus Fernanco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Conrado Christobal in the 61st minute of play. 62 minutes into the game, Samuel Damario was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Club Atlético Abasto's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Verón AFC the free kick. Samuel Damario kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Evelio Felo was slow to take the kick. During this time Club Atlético Abasto's players had a chance to rest. Evelio Felo made a great header on Club Atlético Abasto's corner, it was just that Verón AFC's Jesus Fernanco managed to reach the ball for a save.
