The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Ayui AFC's zone, Maximino Sanchez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lucio Guifre came out of the goal and Maximino Sanchez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 29 minutes into the match, Ayui AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Atilano Baristo came free, but Lucio Guifre reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Salto booed when Ayui AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Osvaldo Eleazar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Maximino Sanchez came free with the goalkeeper in the 31st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Lucio Guifre could save by the left post. Lucio Guifre showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Atilano Baristo in the 41st minute of the match. 43 minutes into the match, Ayui AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Atilano Baristo came free, but Lucio Guifre reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Haroldo Heriberto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristobal Errando in the 45th minute of the match. When Cristobal Errando came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Ayui AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristobal Errando couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristobal Errando got free with Haroldo Heriberto in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
