The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tomas Cordera during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Tomas Cordera hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Gaudencio Iliana might have been able to make a better finish in the 90th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Francisco Bibiano. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gaudencio Iliana ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, Dopping Positivo's Aaron Gomez got a free kick in the 91st minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Gaudencio Iliana managed to get in a good position for a shot. Green Hills's supporters rose to their feet, but Gaudencio Iliana was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Francisco Bibiano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Despite being the better team, Green Hills failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
