Artemio Harriet dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Artemio Harriet took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guido Quinto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 17th minute, Ramiro Maura hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Artemio Harriet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Osvaldo Eleazar in the 18th minute of the match. 22 minutes into the game, Ayui AFC's Osvaldo Eleazar nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Artemio Harriet made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. In the 25th minute Osvaldo Eleazar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Artemio Harriet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Osvaldo Eleazar made a kick off. If Guido Quinto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ayui AFC's Constantino Vergaray shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 72nd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Artemio Harriet but with some difficulty. When Ricardo Palos came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Bathurst fans jumped to their feet. After some careless play in the Bathurst defense, Guido Quinto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Artemio Harriet. The Bathurst fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Artemio Harriet should have stopped the shot. Alejo Guter was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 88th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Ramiro Maura hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. When Ricardo Palos fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bathurst's protests and gave Ricardo Palos a yellow card for diving instead. Ricardo Palos kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. In the 95th minute, Guido Quinto fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post.
