Norberto Tono's late challenge caught a Don Bosco FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Norberto Tono helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Newells old Boys getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Norberto Tono hit a great ball. After 10 played minutes Newells old Boys got a freekick which was hit by Norberto Tono. A hard shot by Ruben Mannuel from long distance, 11 minutes into the match, got Enzo Gaztea's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Marciano Abeitia blasted a shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Enzo Gaztea having to make a save. Astor Guerau kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. If Mario Primo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mario Primo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonas Azibar having to interfere. In the 21st minute Mario Primo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonas Azibar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Norberto Tono received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Jonas Azibar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mario Primo struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Jonas Azibar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Newells old Boys. In the 30th minute, Mario Primo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonas Azibar was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After a rather tough play, Newells old Boys's Norberto Tono got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Marciano Abeitia struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Enzo Gaztea didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Don Bosco FC. The crowd rose to their feet as Marciano Abeitia kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Enzo Gaztea. That made the score 2-1 in the 43 minute of play. After having played for 46 minutes, Enrique Elia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Don Bosco FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Enrique Elia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Marciano Abeitia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Ceferino Cidro hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Isidro Koldo kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Marciano Abeitia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Enzo Gaztea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 68th minute of the match Ruben Mannuel shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Enzo Gaztea showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Marciano Abeitia got in the 72nd a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Enzo Gaztea handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Ceferino Cidro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mario Primo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonas Azibar having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Genaro Filipo during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After recieving a nice pass, Don Bosco FC's Ruben Mannuel tried to score from far away in the 80th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Newells old Boys's zone, Enrique Elia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Enzo Gaztea came out of the goal and Enrique Elia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jonas Azibar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mario Primo in the 90th minute. Marcelino Isidor hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Enrique Elia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enzo Gaztea having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Don Bosco FC had won after a very even match.
