Spectators: 7123 (Terracing: 5413, Seating: 1660, VIP seats: 50) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Santiago Quirce started the match with the kick off. Victorino Pelayo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carolo Basajaun having to interfere. Carolo Basajaun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victorino Pelayo in the 10th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Sakura FC's Justino Lekubegi got a free kick in the 11th minute. If Justino Lekubegi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carolo Basajaun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teobaldo Aurken in the 19th minute of the match. If Rolando Aires had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Justino Lekubegi in the 34th minute of play forced Boquita's goalkeeper Tobias Guillelmo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tobias Guillelmo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rolando Aires in the 35th minute of play. Boquita's Tobias Guillelmo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Boquita from getting a goal against them. After 40 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Sakura FC! In the 42nd minute there was a penalty for Boquita. Ermegildo Pagomari stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Carolo Basajaun. 0-1. After 45 played minutes Boquita got a freekick which was hit by Teobaldo Aurken. Rolando Aires recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Prudencio Garci during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. If Justino Lekubegi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Santiago Quirce received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Carolo Basajaun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A hard shot 62 in the game by Victorino Pelayo from a close distance when the talented Carolo Basajaun managed to make a qualified save. Sakura FC's players were relieved. 68 minutes into the match, Victorino Pelayo notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Sakura FC's Carolo Basajaun. Carolo Basajaun was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Damian Chumo's late challenge caught a Boquita's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Damian Chumo helped the player get up and apologised. Damian Chumo hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Victorino Pelayo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Boquita's supporters rose to their feet, but Victorino Pelayo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carolo Basajaun breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 78th minute, Santiago Quirce got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Victorino Pelayo came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Boquita fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Victorino Pelayo couldn't finish the play. Victorino Pelayo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carolo Basajaun having to interfere.
