In the 18th minute, Club atlético Boca junior's Artemio Birjaio ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Witalis Rosiewicz. Witalis Rosiewicz yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Artemio Birjaio in the 30th minute of play forced Los Guppys's goalkeeper Witalis Rosiewicz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Club atlético Boca junior's Silvano Cresconio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emiliano Herrera in the 32nd minute of play. 2-0 became the score in the 34th minute when Artemio Birjaio elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Artemio Birjaio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Witalis Rosiewicz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Club atlético Boca junior's Silvano Cresconio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amancio Ibar in the 39th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Los Guppys's zone, Artemio Birjaio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Witalis Rosiewicz came out of the goal and Artemio Birjaio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Artemio Birjaio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Artemio Birjaio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Elvio Inautzi during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Los Guppys getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Elvio Inautzi hit a great ball. Club atlético Boca junior's Cosme Urdaspal couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Los Guppys. In the 55th minute Emiliano Herrera shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvano Cresconio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Marcelino Orland had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Artemio Birjaio scored 3-0 in the 58th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Witalis Rosiewicz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Artemio Birjaio in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Witalis Rosiewicz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Witalis Rosiewicz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Artemio Birjaio in the 64th minute of play. If Marcelino Orland had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Witalis Rosiewicz came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by Club atlético Boca junior's Artemio Birjaio. But to his dismay, Artemio Birjaio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. Artemio Birjaio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Witalis Rosiewicz having to interfere. Emiliano Herrera sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 85th minute, Paulino Lalla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Silvano Cresconio made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Enzo Bartuelo sent off a good shot on target. After 95 played minutes Los Guppys got a freekick which was hit by Enzo Bartuelo. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Club atlético Boca junior fully deserved thier win.
