Dionisio Gilen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aldo Bastiaro in the 11th minute of play. 13 minutes into the match, El Alamo FC's goalkeeper Dionisio Gilen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Silvano Isaio. Aldo Bastiaro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Dionisio Gilen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eulalio Brais fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dionisio Gilen having to interfere. After 18 minutes, Ezequiel Semeno mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the El Alamo FC and the Instituto Athletic Club players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 18th match minute, El Alamo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ezequiel Semeno to maneuver through the defense. If Silvano Isaio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 23rdth minute of the game Ertuğrul Onur who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Instituto Athletic Club's Joel Cebo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Eulalio Braiss short, quick shot in the 24thth minute got Dionisio Gilen to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Ezequiel Semeno hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Silvano Isaio in the 30thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Dionisio Gilen, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ertuğrul Onur was the one to do the kick off. Leon Arnau sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a rather tough play, El Alamo FC's Ezequiel Semeno got a free kick in the 74th minute.
