In the 18th match minute, Arsenal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leon Ralondo to maneuver through the defense. In the 20th minute, Zacarias Ikatz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Efrain Bernard stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zacarias Ikatz's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. Arsenal's Efrain Bernard proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Arsenal from getting a goal against them. A collision led to AZ Alkmaar getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Teofilo Panpili hit a great ball. Efrain Bernard made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zacarias Ikatz in the 89th minute of play. Salvador Elija sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
