Moises Franco dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. In the 9th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cheby F.C's goalkeeper Flavio Stanislao, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Moises Franco made an important save on a dangerous shot by Oscar Cordarrel in the 11th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Serafin Montxo in the 12th minute of play forced Cheby F.C's goalkeeper Flavio Stanislao to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Oscar Cordarrel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Moises Franco having to interfere. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cheby F.C's goalkeeper Flavio Stanislao, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Feliberto Jakes fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cheby F.C's protests and gave Feliberto Jakes a yellow card for diving instead. Feliberto Jakes hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. The referee felt a red card was in order, 31 minutes into the game, when Alvaro Senon put in a rough tackle. In the 30th minute, one of Ancasti FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Ancasti FC. When the match had been going on for 33 minutes, Cheby F.C's Alfonso Nerio got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Moises Franco. Oscar Cordarrel blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Moises Franco having to make a save. Moises Franco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulino Cai, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Paulino Cai recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Moises Franco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulino Cai in the 43rd minute of play. Paulino Cai sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Paulino Cai was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Paulino Cai had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Moises Franco. Ancasti FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Paulino Cai was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Paulino Cai sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 62nd match minute, Ancasti FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ramiro Salbatore to maneuver through the defense. If Paulino Cai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Oscar Cordarrel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ancasti FC's Moises Franco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oscar Cordarrel in the 74th minute of play. In the 80th minute, Paulino Cai ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Moises Franco was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Paulino Cai's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Moises Franco read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. When Roberto Aguirre fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cheby F.C's protests and gave Roberto Aguirre a yellow card for diving instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 94th minute of the game. One of Cheby F.C:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Ancasti FC:s goal. Ramiro Salbatore placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Godofredo Matai blasted a shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Flavio Stanislao having to make a save. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Cheby F.C had played much better football throughout.
