Ancasti FC:s Moises Franco showed great skill when he stopped Edgardo Acosta:s penalty. An unexpectedly hard shot by Godofredo Matai in the 24th minute of play forced C.A.BOCA JRS's goalkeeper Patricio Goiz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Godofredo Matai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

In the 54th minute C.A.BOCA JRS were awarded a corner. Edgardo Acosta went to the cornerflag to take it. Gilberto Oliverio thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Moises Franco, a very annoying self made goal in the 55th minute which led to 1-1. In the 60th minute of the match, Godofredo Matai got a very nice opportunity to score, but Patricio Goiz was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Leo Araoz's late challenge caught a Ancasti FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leo Araoz helped the player get up and apologised. In the 65th match minute, C.A.BOCA JRS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leo Araoz to maneuver through the defense. If Rolando Paulin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, C.A.BOCA JRS's Tadeo Enekoitz got a free kick in the 73rd minute.
