El Funecito de Ortega's Anier Lando played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Froilan Oinaz in the 20th minute of play. Anier Lando showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ceferino Afonso in the 33rd minute of the match. 38 minutes into the match, Abreaccionados F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Mauricio Telmo came free, but Modesto Tristan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

In the 54th minute, Froilan Oinaz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cleto Taurino lost his temper 67 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 72 played minutes Abreaccionados F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Uriel Cristofor. Delmar Bras sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 82 minutes, Delmar Bras managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. El Funecito de Ortega's supporters crossed their fingers, but Delmar Bras was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mario Noe hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. In the 87th minute, Mauricio Telmo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The El Funecito de Ortega fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Delmar Bras struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Modesto Tristan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for El Funecito de Ortega. Mario Noe charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mario Noe the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When Federico Loi fell near the penalty area in the 97th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored El Funecito de Ortega's protests and gave Federico Loi a yellow card for diving instead. After 97 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for El Funecito de Ortega! Anier Lando had in the 100thth minute some difficulties stopping Serafino Estevez's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Serafino Estevez did an outstanding performance 100 minutes into the match, when he by himself got past the opposing team's defense and with a quick scored 2-2 to the right of an irritated Anier Lando in the goal. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
