Spectators: 7263 (Terracing: 5449, Seating: 1670, VIP seats: 144) Ancasti FC's Serafin Montxo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5th minute Cayetano Bordat shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Moises Franco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 9 minutes into the match, Ancasti FC's goalkeeper Moises Franco had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Amancio Ted. Serafin Montxo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Stelian Tomoiu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Ancasti FC getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Rolando Paulin hit a great ball. Godofredo Matai might have been able to make a better finish in the 15th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Stelian Tomoiu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Godofredo Matai ran back to his position shaking his head. Cayetano Bordat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Moises Franco having to interfere. Amancio Ted sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 24th minute, Godofredo Matai got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Stelian Tomoiu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Godofredo Matai, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. In the 35thth minute of the game Cayetano Bordat who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ancasti FC's Moises Franco was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 35th match minute, Ancasti FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hipolito Grabiel to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Brea getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Amancio Ted hit a great ball. Cayetano Bordat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Moises Franco having to interfere.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cayetano Bordat was the one to do the kick off. When Cayetano Bordat came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Brea fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cayetano Bordat couldn't finish the play. Godofredo Matai received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Stelian Tomoiu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 58th match minute, Brea was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abel Gonsalve to maneuver through the defense. If Serafin Montxo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 60 minutes into the match, Brea's goalkeeper Stelian Tomoiu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Godofredo Matai. A collision led to Brea getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Abel Gonsalve hit a great ball. 65 minutes into the game, Hipolito Grabiel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ancasti FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Brea the free kick. Moises Franco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amancio Ted in the 69th minute of the match. After having played for 72 minutes, Godofredo Matai managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ancasti FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Godofredo Matai was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Ancasti FC's zone, Amancio Ted stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Moises Franco came out of the goal and Amancio Ted tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 79 played minutes Ancasti FC got a freekick which was hit by Gilberto Oliverio. Moises Franco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amancio Ted, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Brea's Cayetano Bordat in the 89th minute got a chance for a shot 89th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ancasti FC's goalie prevented a goal. Cayetano Bordat blasted a shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Moises Franco having to make a save. Brea's Stelian Tomoiu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Brea from getting a goal against them. Amancio Ted recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Brea fans cheered their team off the field, for while Ancasti FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
