The tension between the Aguilar and the Cheby F.C players grew even worse after the yellow card. Hilario Atarratze hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Flavio Stanislao showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adan Claude in the 7th minute of the match. When Oscar Cordarrel came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Cheby F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Oscar Cordarrel couldn't finish the play. Oscar Cordarrel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Prudencio Faro having to interfere. Flavio Stanislao showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adan Claude in the 16th minute of the match. Joaquin Dacio hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Oscar Cordarrel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Prudencio Faro made a huge save. In the 25th minute, Oscar Cordarrel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Prudencio Faro was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Oscar Cordarrel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Prudencio Faro having to interfere. 35 minutes into the match, Cheby F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Hilario Atarratze came free, but Flavio Stanislao reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Aguilar's Adan Claude got a free kick in the 36th minute. The supporters of Cheby F.C booed when Aguilar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hilario Atarratze didn't get a good kick on the ball. Flavio Stanislao showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hilario Atarratze in the 45th minute of the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Oscar Cordarrel was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Aguilar's zone, Oscar Cordarrel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Prudencio Faro came out of the goal and Oscar Cordarrel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Prudencio Faro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oscar Cordarrel, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. After having played for 64 minutes, Feliberto Jakes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cheby F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Feliberto Jakes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Prudencio Faro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oscar Cordarrel in the 66th minute of play. Hilario Atarratze came free with the goalkeeper in the 73rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Flavio Stanislao could save by the left post. Flavio Stanislao didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Aguilar. Cheby F.C's Flavio Stanislao proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Cheby F.C from getting a goal against them. Flavio Stanislao took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adan Claude, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Oscar Cordarrel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oscar Cordarrel in the 94th minute of play forced Aguilar's goalkeeper Prudencio Faro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Aguilar players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
