Viclos's Luis Isias played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teofilo Florinio in the 9th minute of play. Patricio Lauaxeta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Hugo Fagildo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dario Dominix charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dario Dominix the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 15th match minute, Barrio Latino was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dario Dominix to maneuver through the defense. In the 21st match minute, Viclos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victorino Lehior to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Viclos's Jeremias Ursino got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Cornelio Fe succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 26th playminute. 33 minutes into the match, Barrio Latino's goalkeeper Hugo Fagildo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Guaberto Guillelme. With his leg Hugo Fagildo managed to avoid a goal in the 38thth minute, when Viclos's Guaberto Guillelme fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 41 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Barrio Latino! The goalkeeper, Hugo Fagildo, was totally fooled by Viclos's Emilio Araoz, who 42 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Hugo Fagildo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patricio Lauaxeta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dario Dominix to make the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Patricio Lauaxeta in the 51st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hugo Fagildo saved Barrio Latino from getting behind. In the 51st match minute, Barrio Latino was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aquilino Sugoi to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Barrio Latino getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Ciro Ebardo hit a great ball. In the 56th minute Guaberto Guillelme shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hugo Fagildo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Guaberto Guillelme sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Guaberto Guillelme had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 69th minute, Patricio Lauaxeta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 71st minute, Aquilino Sugoi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 73rd minute of the match Viclos got a corner. Barrio Latino's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Emilio Araoz ran over to the corner to take the kick. After 74 minutes, Cornelio Fe mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Viclos and the Barrio Latino players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Barrio Latino's Ciro Ebardo got a free kick in the 77th minute. Viclos's Paulo Hotz was substituted for Guaberto Guillelme. Viclos's Ramon Rosio was substituted for Cornelio Fe. 80 minutes into the match, Paulo Hotz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hugo Fagildo. Barrio Latino's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Paulo Hotz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Paulo Hotz might have been able to make a better finish in the 83rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hugo Fagildo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Paulo Hotz ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Barrio Latino getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Ciro Ebardo hit a great ball. Hugo Fagildo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulo Hotz, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Ciriaco Oinaz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Barrio Latino's goalkeeper Hugo Fagildo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 96 minutes into the match, Barrio Latino's goal looked a bit too open when Ciriaco Oinaz came free, but Hugo Fagildo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. There was no doubt that Viclos were the better team. Viclos's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
