The crowd rose to their feet as Aguay FC's Juan Pello slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Serafino Ferman. That made the score 1-0 after 12 minutes of play. Serafino Ferman made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Emanuel Amaya sent off a good shot on target. 30 minutes into the match, Aguay FC's goal looked a bit too open when Virgilio Cruz came free, but Gabriel Txatxu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 31st minute, Aldo Rozarius hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Evelio Bermund's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gabriel Txatxu was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. In the 37th minute of the match Jonas Bembe sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Serafino Ferman skillfully saved the ball. Emanuel Amaya recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gabriel Txatxu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Evelio Bermund in the 47th minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Virgilio Cruz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Gabriel Txatxu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Virgilio Cruz, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. After 61 played minutes Aguay FC got a freekick which was hit by Aldo Rozarius. 70 minutes into the game, Damaso Lorencio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Los Rengos FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Aguay FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Los Rengos FC's Damaso Lorencio got a free kick in the 70th minute. Emanuel Amaya fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Serafino Ferman having to interfere. 77 minutes into the game, Aguay FC's Emanuel Amaya nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Serafino Ferman made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. 82 minutes into the match, Aguay FC's goal looked a bit too open when Virgilio Cruz came free, but Gabriel Txatxu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 83rd match minute, Aguay FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teodoro Urko to maneuver through the defense. Aguay FC's Gabriel Txatxu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Virgilio Cruz in the 87th minute of play. Evelio Bermund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Gabriel Txatxu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Virgilio Cruz in the 90th minute of play forced Aguay FC's goalkeeper Gabriel Txatxu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Los Rengos FC defense, Emanuel Amaya kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Serafino Ferman. The Los Rengos FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Serafino Ferman should have stopped the shot. Aguay FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Los Rengos FC for a fine match.
