Aguay FC's Teodoro Urko got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Juan Pello had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Amador Breogan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 45th minute, Juan Pello made a precise shot to the right of Humberto Manuelo. Club Atlc. Julio A. Roca's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2.

Roca fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Humberto Manuelo should have stopped the shot. Aguay FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
