After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Higinio Bortzaioriz managed to get in a good position for a shot. RICA PLATE's supporters rose to their feet, but Higinio Bortzaioriz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hugo Ortle breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hugo Ortle stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Higinio Bortzaioriz's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. A collision led to Basail getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. In the 11th minute Zacarias Loren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fermin Mouricio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Higinio Bortzaioriz in the 16th minute of play forced Basail's goalkeeper Hugo Ortle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 16th minute, Eugenio Mosen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Higinio Bortzaioriz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Higinio Bortzaioriz struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Hugo Ortle didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for RICA PLATE. After a rather tough play, Basail's Celso Amato got a free kick in the 28th minute. Teodosio Senin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fermin Mouricio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Constantino Tab in the 34th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Higinio Bortzaioriz in the 40th minute of play forced Basail's goalkeeper Hugo Ortle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Constantino Tab in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fermin Mouricio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Higinio Bortzaioriz took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hugo Ortle. Hugo Ortle dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Teodosio Senin to strike the kick off in the second half. Celso Amato received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Fermin Mouricio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Higinio Bortzaioriz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hugo Ortle made an important save on a dangerous shot by Higinio Bortzaioriz in the 59th minute. Higinio Bortzaioriz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Hugo Ortle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Higinio Bortzaioriz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Higinio Bortzaioriz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hugo Ortle read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Basail's zone, Higinio Bortzaioriz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hugo Ortle came out of the goal and Higinio Bortzaioriz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Teodosio Senin in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hugo Ortle saved Basail from getting behind. After 81 minutes, Faustino Thomas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the RICA PLATE and the Basail players grew even worse after the yellow card. Faustino Thomas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hugo Ortle having to interfere. Teodosio Senin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Hugo Ortle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ermegildo Bilbo kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. With a little luck, Basail's Hugo Ortle got control of the ball when Higinio Bortzaioriz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Basail's defense didn't have a chance, in the 93rd minute, when Higinio Bortzaioriz scored to the left of an out of position Hugo Ortle, making the score, 0-3. When the final whistle sounded RICA PLATE left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Basail.
