In the 22nd minute of the match Amador Vincent sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tomas Casado skillfully saved the ball. In the 34th minute Constantino Tab shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomas Casado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tomas Casado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Constantino Tab in the 35th minute of play. Faro's Tomas Casado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celso Amato in the 37th minute of play. Celso Amato received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Tomas Casado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Constantino Tab to make the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ermegildo Bilbo during the 53rd minute. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Tomas Casado, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After a rather tough play, Faro's Eriberto Dacio got a free kick in the 75th minute. Basail's Zacarias Loren couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 76th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Faro. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Francisco Micael managed to get in a good position for a shot. Faro's supporters rose to their feet, but Francisco Micael was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hugo Ortle breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francisco Micael in the 91st minute of play forced Basail's goalkeeper Hugo Ortle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Constantino Tab received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Tomas Casado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
