Rigoberto Mark's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Serafino Ferman read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. Serafino Ferman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Francisco Micael's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Virgilio Cruz to strike the kick off in the second half. Serafino Ferman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Francisco Micael, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 55 minutes, Damaso Lorencio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Los Rengos FC and the Faro players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 55 played minutes Los Rengos FC got a freekick which was hit by Damaso Lorencio. The audience was convinced that Francisco Micael's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Serafino Ferman was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. Virgilio Cruz struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Tomas Casado didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. Rigoberto Mark fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Serafino Ferman having to interfere. Francisco Micael received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Serafino Ferman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rigoberto Mark took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Serafino Ferman. Serafino Ferman dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. After 77 minutes of play, Faro's Francisco Micael made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Serafino Ferman was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Francisco Micael came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Faro fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Francisco Micael couldn't finish the play. Serafino Ferman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rigoberto Mark, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Evelio Bermund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Los Rengos FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
