The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Constantino Tab to strike the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alejo Delfino during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. CSyD José C. Paz played a much better game than Basail and deserved their victory. The Basail players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
