Benito Jaen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aquilino Etxekopar having to interfere. Aquilino Etxekopar didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Higinio Domenec went, in the 9th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Romulo Donzel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Capioviciño's supporters rose to their feet, but Romulo Donzel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rene Salvino breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 16th minute Benito Jaen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aquilino Etxekopar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 17th minute, Higinio Domenec left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Club Atletico Boca Junior fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Romulo Donzel in the 23rd minute of play forced Club Atletico Boca Junior's goalkeeper Rene Salvino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aquilino Etxekopar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benito Jaen in the 26th minute of the match. When Benito Jaen came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Club Atletico Boca Junior fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benito Jaen couldn't finish the play. Higinio Domenec could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Aquilino Etxekopar made a huge save. In the 32nd minute, Benito Jaen reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Aquilino Etxekopar. The goal made the score 3-0. If Romulo Donzel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Club Atletico Boca Junior's Benito Jaen got a free kick in the 47th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Romulo Donzel stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 50 played minutes Capioviciño got a freekick which was hit by Benedicto Paez. If Higinio Domenec had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 64 minutes into the match, Club Atletico Boca Junior's Benito Jaen sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Aquilino Etxekopar narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Aquilino Etxekopar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benito Jaen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Higinio Domenec struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Aquilino Etxekopar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Atletico Boca Junior. 89 minutes into the match, Capioviciño's goal looked a bit too open when Benito Jaen came free, but Aquilino Etxekopar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aquilino Etxekopar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benito Jaen in the 91st minute of play. Aquilino Etxekopar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Higinio Domenec, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 92 minutes of play, Club Atletico Boca Junior's Higinio Domenec made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aquilino Etxekopar was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Club Atletico Boca Junior had won after a very even match.
