Diego Ladio started the match with the kick off. 5 minutes into the game, Benito Jaen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Club Atletico Boca Junior's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Zoso.F.C the free kick. A collision led to Club Atletico Boca Junior getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Benito Jaen hit a great ball. After 12 played minutes Club Atletico Boca Junior got a freekick which was hit by Generoso Olo. Arsenio Bilbo was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 13th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After some careless play in the Club Atletico Boca Junior defense, Diego Ladio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rene Salvino. The Club Atletico Boca Junior fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rene Salvino should have stopped the shot. Club Atletico Boca Junior's Benito Jaen got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 21 played minutes Zoso.F.C got a freekick which was hit by Horacio Ariando. The supporters of Zoso.F.C booed when Club Atletico Boca Junior was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Braulio Cilio didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience cheered when Arsenio Bilbo's long shot passed Rene Salvino's right side. It was 0-2, 27 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Zoso.F.C's Rogelio Gaufred got control of the ball when Higinio Domenec tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 35th minute Diego Ladio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rene Salvino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Benito Jaen came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Club Atletico Boca Junior fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benito Jaen couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benito Jaen in the 44th minute of play forced Zoso.F.C's goalkeeper Rogelio Gaufred to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Higinio Domenec fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rogelio Gaufred having to interfere. Benito Jaen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rogelio Gaufred read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 48th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Gavino Teyo's late challenge caught a Club Atletico Boca Junior's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gavino Teyo helped the player get up and apologised. In the 58th minute, Higinio Domenec ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rogelio Gaufred was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Rogelio Gaufred showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Higinio Domenec, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Generoso Olo hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. If Diego Ladio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Club Atletico Boca Junior's Rene Salvino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diego Ladio in the 77th minute of play. If Higinio Domenec had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rene Salvino acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 82nd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Isaias Pinto. In the 83rd minute, Juan Eskuin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Zoso.F.C's zone, Benito Jaen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rogelio Gaufred came out of the goal and Benito Jaen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Higinio Domenec fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rogelio Gaufred having to interfere. Benito Jaen blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rogelio Gaufred having to make a save. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
