Jeremias Cordaryal hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. After having played for 16 minutes, Arsenio Santiago managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dionisia FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arsenio Santiago was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Arsenio Santiago might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aquilino Mikelats. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. The supporters of Dionisia FC booed when Carniceros F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leopoldo Hibai didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 40th minute, Arnulfo Dimo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mauricio Firmo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-1. The Carniceros F.C. players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
