Hugo Vermudo charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. In the 14th minute Guaberto Vistruario shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matias Soter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Celso Gonzalez came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Leopardi Team fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Celso Gonzalez couldn't finish the play. Paolo Iago received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Matias Soter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leopardi Team's Paolo Iago got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Celso Gonzalez came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Leopardi Team fans jumped to their feet. Paolo Iago recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 30 minutes into the match, Paolo Iago had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Matias Soter. Retomados FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Paolo Iago was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Retomados FC's goalkeeper Matias Soter, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Matias Soter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paolo Iago in the 37th minute of play. Celso Gonzalez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. In the 69th minute, Pascual Marko got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A long shot from Guaberto Vistruario in the 74th minute of play was well struck, but Matias Soter made a really good save at the right post. 75 minutes into the match, Paolo Iago dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Matias Soter, 0-3. Leopardi Team's Paolo Iago got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Paolo Iago could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Matias Soter made a huge save. A collision led to Retomados FC getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Cesar Ignatius hit a great ball. 84 minutes into the match, Leopardi Team's Celso Gonzalez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Matias Soter narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 87 played minutes Retomados FC got a freekick which was hit by Hugo Vermudo. Paolo Iago sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In a very dangerous position, a player in Retomados FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 91st minute. Penalty! 95 minutes into the match, Retomados FC's goal looked a bit too open when Celso Gonzalez came free, but Matias Soter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Paolo Iago in the 97th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Matias Soter prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cornelio Oinatz kicked well hit freekick during the 98th minute of the match. After 101 minutes Retomados FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Guaberto Vistruario who took care of the corner kick. When the match was over Leopardi Team could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Retomados FC throughout the match.
