Club Atletico Huracan's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gregorio Bilintx was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Victorino Heriberto got free with Ruben Enaut in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Club Atletico Huracan's Alfredo Acuña played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Esteve Norino in the 48th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gregorio Bilintx stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ruben Enaut showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victorino Heriberto in the 68th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Gregorio Bilintx's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ruben Enaut was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. Alfredo Acuña made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Prudencio Luar sent off a good shot on target. When Gregorio Bilintx came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Club Atletico Huracan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gregorio Bilintx couldn't finish the play. Villafañe's Prudencio Luar got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Delmar Pagomari received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Alfredo Acuña tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
